101 - What is DocuSign?

DocuSign is one of the leading digital signature application available today.  It allows for documents to be routed and signed electronically.  Docusign is legally binding and has been used for offer letters, purchase and sales agreements, legal contracts and court documents.  You can even create a workflow, such as who signs first, second, and so on.

The Town of Shrewsbury (as of this writing) has 10 licenses or "seats" in DocuSign.  We can purchase what we need, but authorization will be needed from the Town Manager for access.
